    Texas Insulation is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Accounts Payable (AP) and Procurement Manager for our privately owned, industry-leading spray foam insulation company in the Texas market. This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing team!

    Position Title: Accounts Payable and Procurement Manager

    Reporting Manager: Controller Essential Duties And Responsibilities

    • Oversee the purchasing of materials and components used for the installation of spray foam and fiberglass insulation as well as rig and consumable products for all Texas branches.
    • Price negotiations with vendors
    • Evaluating the quality of suppliers
    • Leveraging buying power for all Texas branches for internal distribution of supplies
    • Collaboration with Ops Mgrs for preferred supplies while receiving best value for all good and services received
    • Creating purchase orders in QuickBooks
    • Verification of products received
    • Invoice management - entering/coding all incoming bills in QuickBooks with accurate G/L coding for timely payment of invoices
    • Monthly reconciliation of all vendor accounts
    • Weekly reporting of AP to Controller
    • Weekly reporting of inventory forecasting
    • Monthly inventory reconciliation of all branches
    • Audit support as needed for internal and external audits
    • Familiarity with the insulation industry will be very beneficial

    Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or Business-related field. Certification in Purchasing, Inventory Management, or Logistics is preferred.

    Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in Accounts Payables Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in a purchasing and/or buyer related field to work independently and with proven skills Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

    • Strong interpersonal communication skills and strategic and creative thinking abilities.
    • Assumes responsibility for achieving results.
    • Working knowledge of GAAP and regulatory accounting requirements as they pertain to financial institutions.
    • Passion for accuracy.
    • Continually learns and stays current trends in the marketplace.
    • Builds collaborative and productive relationships within the organization
    • Demonstrates effective time management.
    • Strong working knowledge of relevant software including QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
