Eason Maykus, Chairman
Maykus Homes and Neighborhoods is a family owned and operated homebuilding company. We have been building homes in DFW for over 70 years. We currently specialize in NE Tarrant County and select locations in Denton County. Our strength is providing a vertically integrated process for clients with ultimate value in mind. This vertically integrated process seamlessly melds the development of neighborhoods, the building of homes, and the real estate services of a large builder. Clients building with Maykus Homes will be guided through a stress free process ensuring a quality home with safety and style. Our in house sales staff, design team, management, and financial expertise brings generations of families back to our neighborhoods and homes. The locations of our communities and homes are places anyone would be proud to call home. We look forward to building the 2021 Greater Fort Worth Builder’s Association Showcase Home. Happy State Bank, Interim Lending Partner
Founded in 1908 as First State Bank, Happy, Texas, the bank operated solely in that community during its first 81 years. In 1990, J. Pat Hickman, Chairman, led a group of investors in forming Happy Bancshares, Inc. as they purchased the bank. The generically named First State Bank changed its name to the unforgettable HAPPY STATE BANK in 2004.
