The GFWBA Women's Councils is part of NAHB's Professional Women in Building Council (PWB). The PWB is the voice of women in the building industry - dedicated to promoting industry professionalism and supporting members at the local, state and national levels.
GFWBA Builder, Associate and Affiliate Members are welcome to join the Women's Council. Dues are $50 per year. The committee will meet every other month to discuss committee business, professional development, plan committee events and philanthropic projects.

Topic: Pioneering Women Series
This event will feature guest speaker Fiona M. Allen, P.E., who recently retired from the Trinity River Authority of Texas after serving for 8 years. She was responsible for the planning, development, construction and operations of the Authority’s water and wastewater systems in the northern region, which serve 1.4 million people in the DFW Metroplex. She previously served in various roles with the City of Arlington, including Director of Utilities and Deputy City Manager.
During her career, Ms. Allen has been the first woman to hold several positions, including her role with the Trinity River Authority. GFWBA Women’s Council members are invited to hear Ms. Allen share her insights & experience while enjoying breakfast, courtesy of Lacey Ferrier with Fresh Foods Catering.
