Job title: Superintendent - New Construction
Position Overview: Supervises and coordinates construction activities in the field. Plans and directs all tasks required in construction of housing units.
Manage all functions of the job site as it relates to home construction.
Communicates construction schedules to applicable trades.
Maintains accurate records of construction progress in company construction management software.
Manage construction of multiple homes from dirt through closing while maximizing profits and maintaining excellence.
Achieve the highest quality work and homeowner satisfaction through effective management of resources and the construction process.
Coordinates the delivery of necessary construction materials and resources.
Monitor jobsite cleanliness and hold the subcontractors responsible for daily clean-up.
Maintains jobsite security measures to company standards.
Conduct inspections after each trade has completed its tasks and before any work is authorized for payment.
Establish and maintain contact with appropriate city officials and inspectors as needed. Verifies all projects are ready for and complete all required inspections from beginning of project to final inspection.
Walk each completed home before homeowner walk-through to make sure it is complete, clean, and meets all standards.
Communicates professionally with Sales, Purchasing, Homeowners, and Trades as required.
Familiarity with Google Suite applications including Docs, Sheets, Forms, etc.
Able to adopt new software and technology solutions as needed.
Must have ability to read and understand architectural and structural blueprints.
Must have a vehicle, a valid TX driver’s license.
