2026/2027 Board of Directors Orientation

Join your fellow Board of Directors and Executive Committee members for an engaging orientation designed to strengthen your understanding of the Greater Fort Worth Builders Association's governance, leadership structure, and board responsibilities. This session will provide an opportunity to get acquainted with your fellow leaders, share introductions, and build relationships that will contribute to a productive and effective year of service.

During the orientation, participants will review the roles and responsibilities of the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, President, and Executive Vice President. Topics will also include board meeting expectations, proper meeting decorum, attendance requirements, voting procedures, fiduciary obligations, and an overview of basic Robert's Rules of Order to help ensure meetings are conducted efficiently and professionally.

Whether you are a new board member or a returning leader, this orientation will provide valuable insight into how the Association operates and how each volunteer leader contributes to its success.

Lunch is included.
