New Home Sales Consultant – Trainee
This position is designed to provide a pathway for promotion to Sales Consultant with on-the-job experience. Once proficiencies are demonstrated, consideration for an available opportunity to promote to New Home Sales Consultant will be implemented.
Job Responsibilities:
- o Enthusiastically and professionally meeting and greeting prospective customers
- o Maintaining various tracking and scheduling lists and performing clerical tasks
- o Assist Sales Consultant with administrative duties
- o Passing along potential customers to our Sales Consultant
- o Qualifying prospects by determining their home buying needs
- o Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
- o Assisting the Sales Consultant with prospecting, marketing & promoting new business
- o Following up with prospects throughout the sales process
- o Developing and maintaining relationships with the Realtor community
- o Working & communicating effectively with customers & team members
- o Understanding the loan process
- o Qualifications:
- o Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Communications or related degree
- o Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and the ability to quickly pick up new software
- o Outstanding communication skills, both verbal & written
- o Strong listening skills & creative problem-solving abilities
- o Driven to excel
- o A positive, team-player attitude
- o Enjoy building relationships with people
- o Provide exceptional customer service
- o A willingness to learn and develop skills in negotiations, prospecting, marketing and communication
*Must be able to work weekends, evenings & some holidays
*Realtors must be willing to place their Real Estate license in inactive status if hired
