    Skilled Accounting Clerk - $45k - $60k (depending on experience)


    The right candidate for this environment is positive, hardworking, and loves fast-paced environments. Degree not required but a solid understanding of bookkeeping is critical to the position.

    Minimum 4 years of construction accounting experience/construction administration experience and an accomplished background in QuickBooks.

    The position will collaborate across departments to enter budgets, set up jobs, gather project takeoffs, and review project scopes to create and issue change orders. The position will also play a vital role in helping set strategic direction, development, and future growth of our firm.     Job Duties

    • ·       Manage financial aspects of 7-10 construction projects simultaneously
    • ·       Utilize accounting software systems such as QuickBooks and JobTread
    • ·       Generate financial QuickBooks reports
    • ·       Back up QuickBooks weekly
    • ·       Code and enter vendor and expense invoices; print checks
    • ·       Process, reconcile, and balance Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and monthly bank statements
    • ·       Assist with preparing client contract invoices, change orders, and additional work orders
    • ·       Collect on contracts
    • ·       Ensure accurate and timely recording of all project-related financial transactions
    • ·       Monitor invoices and match them with estimates/bids when received
    • ·       Process twice-weekly check runs for subcontractors and vendors
    • ·       Work closely with external vendors and subcontractors
    • ·       Collaborate with internal teams, administrators, and project managers
    • ·       Maintain electronic job files - including job documents, contracts, C/O's, billing, insurance certificates and correspondence
    • ·       Process Invoices
    • ·       Ensure bills are paid on time
    • ·       Ensure owner billing is completed on schedule

    Experience and Skills Required

    • ·       Minimum 4 years’ experience in construction accounting/administration
    • ·       Proficiency in QuickBooks
    • ·       Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, MS Office in general
    • ·       Experience with JobTread or other project management software
    • ·       Experience with KEAP or other CRM
